First and foremost, let me state how grateful I am for the hard work the NYPD, FBI and other involved agencies displayed this past week after a botched car bombing in Times Square. What could have been a very tragic and devastating event, was evaded thanks to sharp civilians, skilled police officers and experienced agency officials. However, don't pat yourselves on the back just yet, Homeland Security. To be honest, that fucker got way too close to making a clean escape for you to gloat about his capture.

What, exactly, is the purpose of a "No Fly List" if the list is only effective in holding back a five-year-old with a name matching that of a terrorist? The list is, quite frankly, a joke and there are one too many loopholes involved in it. It was easy for the terrorist, Faisal Shahzad, to make a last minute ticket purchase, allowing him to bypass the "No Fly List" initial review. He shouldn't have been on that plane, plain and simple (pun intended), and the "No Fly List" failed us.

Now that Shahzad is in custody, we must do what is right (because he only deserves the utmost respect) and give him a fair and unbiased trial, if convicted, to be judged by a panel of his peers (Osama bin Laden, Najibullah Zazi, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab -- because really... who would anyone consider him their "peer?") I say BULLSHIT. Why is all this political correctness necessary towards those who were attempting to bomb our people and flee the country in an attempt to avoid imprisonment? The only real punishment I see fit is "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." No, it wouldn't be right to put that fucker in that same SUV, fill it with the same barrels of gasoline, tanks of gas and fireworks, and blow it up like the FOURTH OF JUUUULY! No... that would be inhumane! He deserves to rot in a jail cell, while tax money (half your paycheck, just to remind you all) goes to feeding him, clothing him and keeping him warm and comfortable. Is it just me or is something not right here?

I'd also like to add that this is an on-going investigation and the suspect, Faisal Shahzad, has not yet been convicted at the time of this post and a trial has yet to begin. We hope that the involved agencies can find enough evidence to secure an arrest.

Toys have been banned in some California fast-food "Kid's Meals" this week in another way for our country to push the blame elsewhere. After a 3-2 vote by Santa Clara supervisors, meals with more than 485 calories must do without the little piece of shit toys we all looked forward to as children to get with our meal. What ever happened to accountability? Have we succumbed to blaming little .02 cent toys for the reason all your children are fat? I'm honestly getting tired.

The age group for people whom request "Kid's Meals" are, usually, children. Well no shit! I guess that's why they call it a "Kid's Meal." Kid's are usually, to my knowledge, considered between the ages of 3-13 (and even if we were to extend that age to 15, our logic would still uphold). Children of this age aren't capable of getting in a car, driving to their local McDonald's or Burger King and buying a "Kid's Meal" all on their own. They need the help of their parents for transportation and even the money to purchase said food. Did it ever dawn on you that, perhaps, your child is obese because of the parent's negligence in choosing a more hardy and healthy meal and not the fault of a piece of shit toy?

Hey, parents! Stop bringing your fat kid to McDonald's! Let's try that before we blame manipulative advertising, genius marketing and a dinky piece of shit toy for the reason why your kid is round. Have you ever heard of the word "no?" Using that word would save your child from a unhealthy lifestyle, medical problems and school bullying. If your kid wants a toy, bring them to Toys 'R Us and purchase them a hula hoop (not a video game, or what's the sense?). Your lack of accountability disgusts me. Take back your power before the government takes it out from under you and uses the excuse that they're trying to help the country.

Toys in "Kid's Meals" have been around since 1979 and this so-called "Obesity Epidemic" is only a new issue. Back then, parents knew they had to power to say "No!" and used that power to their advantage. Only recently have people become lazy. They are lazy to say "no," lazy to make a home-cooked meal, lazy to be a good parent and this laziness is the reason why your kids are fat, not a toy stuck between fries and a hamburger... dumbasses. When your child actually eats the toy, then you'll have a reason to blame it. Until then, start blaming yourselves.

Kate Gosselin, do you support child labor? Let's face it, without your eight, the only other TV shows I could see you doing is "Kate Without a Date," "Kate Minus Her Mate" or "Kate the Irate." You're not entertainment material if it wasn't for your children. Do you realize you're sacrificing a normal childhood for your kin in exchange for a paycheck and a couple more minutes of fame? Shame on you.

A CNN article written on April 26, 2010 wrote "Gosselin Kids Get Work Permits for 'Kate Plus 8.'" This has got to be a misuse of work permits for children. According to the state of Pennsylvania Child Labor Laws, "minors under 16 years of age may not be employed." Yet, these children, obviously under the age of 16, were just cleared of getting Work Permits. According to our research, they were supposedly cleared for an Entertainment Work Permit for minors, a California-state work permit. I was under the impression that labor laws were on a state to state basis and what one state allows, another may not. Can a child be cleared for an Entertainment Work Permit in a state they aren't necessarily working in? 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' was filmed in Pennsylvania, so why are their children allowed to work under a permit provided by California?

Further more, child labor laws explain that a child's education should not be disrupted for the sake of work, yet I can recall an episode titled "Jon and Kate Plus 8: the First Day of School for the Sextuplets" where their children were filmed during a key part in their education, when building blocks for the rest of their lives are constructed. Jon and Kate were exploiting their children then, and Kate is doing it now-- with a legal work permit backing her up. I also want to add in the law regarding how long a child is allowed, per the work permit, to be behind the camera lights. How do we know, for sure, that while the production of this ridiculous show all these guidelines are upheld to? It seems to me that what is taped, even after editing, is more than 40 hours a week (the normal work week for an ADULT). Some food for thought.

Kate Gosselin, you were a horrible dancer and America voted you off. With the lift-off of this show, you're an even worse mother. The difference is, your children can't vote you off. Do the right thing for your children and stop the reality TV madness in the lives of your eight children. Let them grow up without a camera in front of their face and stop attempting to suck the entertainment dry for your last seconds of fame. Go be a mother. According to CNN, Gosselin commented, saying "I'm a working mom, I'm single and I have to provide for my kids." Yes, we understand that, but there are many women in your position and no one else has the luxury of using their kids on reality TV in exchange for a hefty paycheck. Go work at the mall or something, your situation is far from reality.

Hey, illegal immigrants. NEWS FLASH! You're illegal! I don't even know where to begin to express my extreme pleasure to hear that at last, someone is pulling their head out of the fucking sand and finally decided to do something about a growing epidemic. Yes, epidemic. While you may believe I am using the word out of context, I can explain to you how I'm not. An epidemic, according to Wikipedia, occurs when new cases of a certain disease, in a given human population, and during a given period, substantially exceed what is "expected." I can tell you, with full belief, that the amount of illegal immigrants we have in this country- be it Mexicans or any other ethnicity- are a disease infecting the population in America and it is growing far more than anyone expected.

Finally, someone with some sort of "power" is putting into place laws that can hinder the growth of this growing cancer. They are dubbed "illegal" for a reason and please do not tell me they have American rights to be here, they don't. They do not pay taxes like you and I; while you slave at your 9-5 and pull your hair out when the government takes half your pay for taxes, your money is going to support these people. How disgusting!

How can any citizen of this country talk badly about a law that takes back our country currently swarming with illegals. Would you, as a citizen, feel offended if a police officer asked for your ID? I wouldn't. To claim this is "racial profiling" is pure stupidity, but I must admit, I knew some moron would say it eventually. It is required to carry around a piece of ID, be it a driver's license or state ID. Now, you can tack "Green Card" on the list. What's the problem here? The only ones who have a problem with this new law are those who are sucking our country dry of our rights and freedoms while they illegally live here, having children and multiplying like rabbits. Ay carumba!

To add, we have our own President speaking ill about this law, calling it "misguided." Where the hell has he been? Sorry, Mr. President, you're the one who is misguided and I hope you too will pull your head from the sand soon. There's no need for you to be politically correct here, they can't vote for you come 2012 anyway! So what's the use? Even if they did, you wouldn't be the one they'd vote for. I think it's obvious after this prior election that everyone votes for their own kind.

According to CNN: "Latino members of Congress also slammed the bill.  "When you institutionalize a law like this one, you are targeting and discriminating at a wholesale level against a group of people," Rep. Raul Grijalva, D-Arizona, said Tuesday."  Let's pick this apart sentence by sentence, will we? Latino members of Congress also slammed the bill. Well, no shit Sherlock! Birds of a feather flock together. When you institutionalize a law like this one, you are targeting and discriminating at a wholesale level against a group of people. Yes, a specific group, the illegal ones. Are you slow? You are protecting the rights of criminals that are not even citizens and constitutional rights are for citizens only.

In short, this law is about ILLEGAL immigrants, be it Mexicans, the Irish, the Italians or Russians, not about the color of your skin (please stop using that as an excuse, I thought you all wanted "equality?"). If you happen to be of dark skin and are legally here, Welcome to America! If you are here illegally then I'm all for showing you the fucking door. This is may be the "Land of Opportunity," but it's also the "Land of Taxes," they come hand in hand. If you seek opportunity, taxes are not too far behind wanting to fuck you up the ass-- and everyone here is required to get fucked up the ass.  Bend over, amigo!

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, has been punished with a six game suspension from the National Football League for violating NHL's "Personal-Conduct" Policy. What a load of pure bullshit. How can the NFL punish one of their players for allegations of supposed rape, when the case itself doesn't even have enough evidence to support an actual court case? There will be no court hearing, there will be no judge and jury standing before him and there will be no jail-time, all because there isn't enough evidence to support such... but yet... the NFL feels hearsay is enough to suspend one of their Quarterbacks.

Are you telling me that every time some bimbo who drinks too much decides to scream "RAPE!" that you're going to actually take the broad seriously enough to suspend someone, when our justice system decides against doing the same? All it takes is for me to find someone within the NFL, claim they raped me, and have him suffer a suspension at the cost of me opening my mouth? What a ridiculous claim, and what is even more ridiculous is the fact that simple-minded and false claims can be taken seriously enough to cause punishment.

There is no evidence but a girl crying wolf, how can we base such punishments on the word that of female with no additional validity? He's famous, she's seen him somewhere, he must have money and these days everyone is looking for a reason to sue or at least get noticed somehow. I would have demanded a rape-test and when that test came back negative, I would have had the justice system show her what happens when people lie in an attempt to extort and slander a person in the spotlight. There's a reason why her story was dodgy enough for the District Attorney decline pressing charges and for her to go as far as writing a letter to the DA asking that Roethlisberger not be charged. To add, the 20-year old college student told police after the incident she didn't know if they even had sex. Um, darling, sex is required to claim rape. I feel bad calling you a "dumb bitch" at this point, I feel like everyone is already aware of that. Her story was "unclear. It's foggy, and I couldn't prove it beyond a reasonable doubt," stated District Attorney, Fred Bright. 

I think it's completely and utterly stupid for someone to have to face a punishment for something that is based off of the word of one person. This is a joke of the NFL's version of the justice system. According to the NFL's "Personal-Conduct" policy, a breach in the policy entails "conduct detrimental for Covered Persons to engage in (or to aid, abet or conspire to engage in or to incite) violent and/or criminal activity." Where was the violent and/or criminal activity? Where is the proof? Until you have proof, don't hide behind your policy wrongfully.

Along with his suspension, Roethlisberger will have to take part in a "comprehensive behavioral evaluation." Need I say more here? Let dumb-dumb play Football; that's what you pay him to do and leave the behavioral evaluations for serial killers and child molesters. Maybe the NFL needs their own evaluation...

The Honest Factor: We don't give a fuck.

After walking away seven years ago from a singing career, Christian music star Jennifer Knapp decided it was a good time to come out of the closet. We at THF don't give a shit if she likes the rooster or the kitty, so I'm wondering why does everyone else has this fascination when people in the limelight come out with their sexuality. Just a month or so ago, Ricky Martin thought it was his time to wave the gay flag and surrender to the rumors like we were waiting behind bunkers with guns in hand. Who cares? You, Ricky Martin, didn't fool me with your "Livin' la Vida Loca" video where women rubbed hot wax on your cleanly shaven body. I still knew you lived la vida queer, you weren't kidding anyone.

But why do these people feel like they have to come out? Why does everyone care so much? Are your lives that boring where you cling on to every shred of homosexual drama that pops into the entertainment world? A straight couple has the ability to walk out on the red carpet with their opposite-sexed partner arm in arm. I'm wondering where their public service announcement was stating they were straight? Why do the gays feel they need to come out first, show us their same-sexed partner later? We'll get the point when you walk the red carpet in all your gay glory. We won't need you to warn us ahead of time, believe me, the media will eat it up regardless.

Here's an idea. Let's stop giving a shit who fucks who and worry about more important things... like Tiger Woods.

How can anyone torture an innocent animal? There takes a "special" person to mistreat an animal, a REALLY "special" person to completely torture one by nailing a cat to a utility pole. Yes, you read right. Some asshole in the state of Illinois nailed a cat to a utility pole by one of it's hind legs Monday, April 5th.

There aren't words to describe the type of person someone has to be to torture an animal and the hang it via a nail to it's hind leg. Whoever it is, I have only one advice on punishment. Call me sexist, but this looked like the job of a man and the only fitting punishment I could see as being equal and fair is nailing the fucker by his nut sack and leaving him to die (or his sack ripping off, either is okay).

But how can anyone track the criminal? We're talking about a rural town (the correct word for "hick town") of Geneseo, Illinois where the cops probably do work equivalent to that of a hall monitor. There's no way anyone is going to find this asshole. Either way, karma will find him and although karma may not nail him to a pole by his nutsack, karma has other things in store, I'm sure.
